Your plan has a gym benefit sitting there unused. Here's how to find it in 10 minutes this weekend.

Molina added $100 toward a gym membership or home fitness equipment for 2026. SilverSummit and CareSource include a free local gym membership. Health Plan of Nevada covers a free YMCA Family Plan. Anthem puts $100 toward a membership plus free online classes.

Three steps:

1. Find your member ID card.
2. Look up your plan's member portal or call the number on the back.
3. Ask for the fitness or wellness benefit by name.

Here is the whole problem in one sentence: the benefits are already there, and almost nobody knows.

Not an eligibility problem. Not a paperwork problem you can't solve. An awareness problem — plan documents are dense, the good parts are buried, and people are busy surviving.

This one is not a perk. It is a life-saving medication, and it is free.

The Southern Nevada Health District provides free naloxone — the medication that reverses an opioid overdose — to the public. Most Medicaid plans also cover it at the pharmacy.

You do not need to know anyone who uses drugs to carry it. Fentanyl turns up in pills people believe are something else. Naloxone in a glove box or a first aid kit costs you nothing and does nothing until the day it does everything.

Buying in bulk is one of the few reliable ways to beat rising grocery prices. Some Nevada Medicaid plans include a warehouse club membership.

Which club, which plan, and what you have to do to get it all vary — and these offers get revised, so last year's answer may not be this year's.

If you are pregnant and on Nevada Medicaid, ask your plan about pregnancy rewards.

Plans commonly offer incentives for keeping prenatal appointments and completing postpartum care — often gift cards, sometimes support for baby essentials like diapers and wipes. The specifics differ by plan and change from year to year.

Nobody hands you a list of this at your first appointment. That is the gap we fill.
