🐝 Celebrating Our BEE Award Recipient, Leena! 🐝💛

Centennial Hills Hospital is proud to recognize Leena, CNA IMC, as a recipient of the BEE Award, honoring team members who provide exceptional care and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Leena was nominated by a patient who shared how her compassion, empathy and selflessness brought comfort and dignity during an extended hospital stay. From taking extra time to help with personal care to remembering the little things such as refilling water, setting up meals and simply taking the time to listen. Leena made her patient feel seen as a person, not just a patient.
Her nominator described Leena as a consistent source of encouragement and emotional support during an incredibly difficult time, saying her presence brought peace and comfort when it was needed most.

Congratulations, Leena! Thank you for going above and beyond each day and for demonstrating the compassionate, patient-centered care we are so proud of at Centennial Hills Hospital. 💛🐝

Last month, Centennial Hills Hospital celebrated Housekeepers Week and the incredible members of our Environmental Services team.

Our EVS team is an essential part of everything we do. Their hard work, dedication and attention to detail help create a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our patients, families, visitors and staff every single day. Their work may often happen behind the scenes, but their impact is felt throughout every corner of our hospital.

We are incredibly proud of this team and grateful for the care and commitment they bring to Centennial Hills Hospital each day.

🌼 Congratulations to Amber, RN, Emergency Department, on receiving the DAISY Award! 🌼
Amber was nominated by a grateful patient who came to our Emergency Department at Centennial Hills Hospital experiencing postpartum bleeding that quickly became a life-threatening emergency requiring blood transfusions and emergency surgery.

The patient shared:
“Amber’s competency got me back to a stable condition so that I didn’t bleed out. Her calm and confident bedside manner as she talked me through the scariest and most traumatic moment of my life helped to keep me as calm as I could be considering the situation. She saved my life and I will never forget her.”

Amber’s clinical expertise, calm presence and compassion exemplify the extraordinary care our nurses provide every day at Centennial Hills Hospital.

It was so wonderful to see our community members attend our Annual Fall Health Fair this weekend! Local residents got to enjoy free health screenings and were provided with important health information. Kids enjoyed face-painting and balloon artists!

Also, a huge thank you to all our amazing hospital department leaders, staff, vendors and community organizations who came out! Your support and resources made the day a fantastic success. We couldn't have done it without you!!

We are so excited to see you this weekend at our annual Fall Community Health Fair! On Saturday, September 19th, Centennial Hills Hospital is hosting a free, family-friendly event from 11 am to 1 pm, featuring health screenings, wellness information, and fun activities for children, including facepainting for children, raffles and refreshments. The first 100 attendees will receive a free gift. See you there!
