Day 4 of 30. And this one might be the most important thing I say all month.
Feeling fine does not mean you are fine.
This is the single biggest reason men die from prostate cancer. Not because it was untreatable. Not because it was too aggressive. But because they felt good. They had no pain, no symptoms, no reason to think anything was wrong.
And by the time they found out, it had already spread.
In its early stages prostate cancer is completely silent. It grows slowly, quietly, without a single symptom to warn you. No alarm goes off. Your body does not tell you. That is what makes it so dangerous and that is exactly why waiting until something hurts is not a strategy.
I have sat across from men in my office who were shocked. Men who worked out regularly, ate well, and felt great. And they had prostate cancer that had already moved beyond the gland.
The only way to know is to get screened.
A PSA blood test and a digital re**al exam can detect prostate cancer before you ever feel a thing. That is the window. That is when we can cure it. Once symptoms appear we are often playing catch up.
Do not wait. Book the appointment. Get the test. Know your numbers.
Share this with every man in your life and follow so you do not miss a single day of this series. We are just getting started. ππΎ
