A big thank you to Dr. Michael Verni, urologist at Urology Center, for an outstanding full-house men’s health lecture at Sun Shadows!

Dr. Verni brought a wealth of expertise to the conversation, drawing from a distinguished career in adult and pediatric urology. A Diplomate of the American Board of Urology and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, he has held numerous leadership and academic roles, including Faculty at the Valley Health System General Surgery Residency Program, President of the Las Vegas Urological Society, Assistant Clinical Professor at Touro University and positions with the Nevada Cancer Institute and Clark County Medical Society.

His dedication to advancing care and education is matched by his commitment to the medical community, with memberships in organizations such as the American Urological Association, Endourological Society, and American Medical Association. Over the years, his work has earned him national recognition, including being named among Top Doctors in America (2024) and consistently voted a top Las Vegas urologist by his peers since 2007.

Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Verni has contributed to the field through published research and presentations nationwide. He began his journey graduating Cum Laude from UC Davis in Biochemistry, followed by medical school at George Washington University and residency training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

We’re so grateful he shared his time, knowledge, and passion for men’s health with our community and thank you to everyone who attended and made the event such a success!
