Warm weather β˜€οΈ often means more time around pools, sprinklers, and backyard water play, which also makes it a good time to revisit a few helpful safety habits.

In this episode of the All Autism Talk Podcast, Dr. Molly O’Shea, MD, a parenting expert with over 30 years of experience and a partner with Goldfish Swim School, joins us to talk through realistic, everyday approaches to water safety that fit into family life. From sharing supervision πŸ‘€ through simple systems to choosing swim instruction 🏊 that meets each child where they are, she offers guidance that feels doable and supportive.

She also touches on how swim lessons can be especially helpful for children with autism and other neurodivergent children, supporting both skill building and comfort in the water at their own pace.
