We had such a great time caring for the talented artists and performers at the (MC)² Festival this past August, curated by staibdance!

The multicultural dance festival’s mission is to unite diverse, culturally rooted Atlanta dance companies under one roof.

The show featured Flamenco, Chinese Dance, Mexican Danza Folklórica, Indian Classical Dance, and so much more!

We’re grateful to support the artists who bring such incredible cultural traditions and movement to Atlanta. ❤️

Is your dancer ready for pointe? 🩰

Pointe is an exciting milestone, but it also places your entire body weight through an incredibly small surface area. That’s why having the strength, stability, and control to support this transition is so important.

At Atlanta Dance Medicine, our physical therapists help dancers prepare for pointe with individualized assessments and training designed to build the strength and movement quality needed to dance safely and confidently.

✨ Did you know we can also help assess pointe shoe fit? We work alongside teachers and professional pointe shoe fitters to help find the best shoe for your dancer’s unique body—or recommend modifications when managing an injury.

Ready to take the next step toward pointe? We’d love to help! 🩰♥️

Ready to prepare for your pre-pointe assessment? We’d love to help! 🩰♥️

At Atlanta Dance Medicine, we help dancers prepare with evidence-informed screening and training that builds the strength, balance, control, and technique needed for pointe work.

From dance-specific functional tests like the Topple Test (Bronner, Lassey et al 2020) to assessments of calf strength, balance, mobility, and alignment, our goal is to help dancers feel confident, capable, and ready to take the next step safely.
