Pain traveling down your arm or leg? An irritated spinal nerve may be the cause.

At Innovative Pain Care Center, transforaminal epidural steroid injections deliver anti-inflammatory medication near a specific spinal nerve root through the opening where it exits the spine. This targeted, minimally invasive outpatient procedure may help ease radiating nerve pain, including sciatica.

Relief may develop over several days and last weeks to months, though results vary for each patient.

Migraines that last for hours—or keep returning—may be connected to more than head pain. Chronic neck pain, stiffness, irritated nerves, and problems within the cervical spine can sometimes contribute to headaches that resemble or accompany migraines.

Chronic low back pain may be coming from within the vertebrae. Basivertebral nerve ablation is an FDA-cleared, minimally invasive procedure designed to treat chronic vertebrogenic low back pain at its source.

Using specialized radiofrequency technology, your physician precisely targets the basivertebral nerve within the affected vertebrae, interrupting pain signals while preserving the surrounding tissues.

The procedure is typically performed on an outpatient basis, allowing most patients to return home the same day!

Chronic pain can make everyday activities feel overwhelming, but spinal cord stimulation may offer lasting relief.

A spinal cord stimulator uses controlled, low-voltage electrical currents to help modify pain signals before they reach the brain. Patients first undergo a temporary trial to determine how well the treatment works for their individual needs.

If the trial provides significant relief, a permanent device may be implanted to support long-term pain management. Many successful patients experience more than a 50% reduction in pain, allowing for increased activity and less reliance on pain medication.

Spinal stenosis occurs when the spaces within the spine narrow, potentially placing pressure on nearby nerves. This condition may cause back or neck pain, numbness, tingling, weakness, or discomfort that travels into the arms or legs.

Symptoms can vary from person to person and may worsen when standing or walking. A thorough evaluation can help identify the source of your discomfort and determine which treatment options may be appropriate for your needs.

Persistent pain after back surgery may be a sign of Failed Back Surgery Syndrome (FBSS). Managing this condition often requires a systematic, personalized approach designed to address the source of pain and improve quality of life.

Treatment typically begins with nonsurgical options. Physical therapy can help strengthen supporting muscles and improve lower-back mobility, while minimally invasive procedures such as transforaminal epidural steroid injections or radiofrequency ablation may provide lasting relief for some patients.

A disc protrusion occurs when the outer layer of a spinal disc weakens, allowing the inner gel-like material to push beyond its normal boundaries. When the protruding disc places pressure on nearby nerves or the spinal cord, it may cause pain, numbness, tingling, or weakness.

Disc protrusions are commonly diagnosed using an MRI or CT scan. Depending on the severity of the condition, treatment may include rest, physical therapy, medication, or surgery. Epidural steroid injections may also help reduce inflammation around the affected disc and nearby nerves, providing meaningful pain relief for some patients.
