🐱 Did you know cats can develop diabetes too?

Feline diabetes is a condition that affects how a cat’s body uses sugar (glucose) for energy. Some common signs include increased thirst, frequent urination, weight loss despite a good appetite, and changes in activity level.

Did you Know cats can have high blood pressure too?

Feline hypertension (high blood pressure) is often called a "silent disease" because many cats don't show obvious signs until serious damage has already occurred. Left untreated, it can affect the eyes, kidney's, heart, and even the brain, sometimes leading to sudden vision loss or other life-threatening complications.

Senior cats and cats with conditions such as kidney disease or hyperthyroidism are at a higher risk, which is why routine blood pressure checks can be an important part of you cat's preventive care.

Meet our adorable Boarder of the Month, Dora! 💕 This sweet girl has quickly stolen our hearts with her gentle personality and love for all the attention she can get.

Dora’s favorite things? Pets, yummy food, and playtime! 🥰 Whether she’s soaking up chin scratches, eagerly waiting for her next meal, or chasing after her favorite toys, she always knows how to brighten our day.

🐾💙 Sebastian’s Big Day! 💙🐾

Sweet Sebastian was in the very capable hands of Dr. Lindsay for his neuter procedure. We’re happy to report that he did wonderfully and was an excellent patient from start to finish! 🩺✨

This handsome little guy charmed everyone he met with his adorable face and gentle personality. Our team made sure he received lots of love, comfort, and attentive care throughout his stay.

Neutering is an important step in helping pets live healthier lives, and we’re proud to have been part of Sebastian’s journey. We wish him a smooth recovery filled with plenty of naps, treats, and cuddles at home. 🧡🐱

🌟🐾 Boarder of the Month: Sunny! 🐾🌟

Sunny completely stole our hearts during her stay with us at the cat hospital! 💕 This sweet girl loved soaking up attention from the staff, getting all the pets and cuddles she could, and spending time enjoying her play sessions.

Her gentle personality and adorable curiosity made every day brighter around here. We are so thankful we got to spend time with such a loving kitty! 🐱✨

The term “mutt” traditionally applies to mixed-breed dogs. While mixed-breed cats are typically referred to as “domestic.”
