Yesterday was such a fun day! 📣💛

We had the CSN cheerleaders join us at The Garden Foundation to show off their moves, teach us some cheers, and talk about the importance of setting goals, perseverance, and never giving up!

But behind the scenes, our friends had a little surprise of their own! They had been practicing the “Boots on the Ground” line dance and got to show off their moves alongside the cheerleaders! 🤠

A day full of dancing, cheering, new friendships, and lots of smiles! Thank you, CSN Cheer, for making it so special!

Saturday was one of our favorite days of the year, World Inclusion Day! 💛📚

Created by our founder, Taylor Gardner Chaney, World Inclusion Day is celebrated every October 10 (10/10) as a reminder that everyone deserves to feel valued and included.

To celebrate, our friends visited Snyder Elementary and Let’s Talk Preschool to read stories about kindness, belonging, and inclusion!

At The Garden Foundation, adults with disabilities deserve more than a place to spend their day. They deserve opportunities to build friendships, discover new passions, gain independence, and continue growing. 💛

Every week, our clients cook, create art, take music lessons, build life and career skills, explore their community, and so much more. Each experience is a chance to discover something they enjoy or accomplish something they didn’t know they could.

Sometimes progress looks like preparing a meal independently. Other times, it’s speaking up about what they want or finding the confidence to join in. These moments matter, and giving each person the support to reach them is why we’re here.

What makes our program so successful is our low client-to-staff ratios and how we tailor learning to each person’s goals and abilities. That individualized attention is essential. Meaningful progress takes time, consistency, and people who understand how to help.

But there’s something you may not know about how this work is funded.

We’ve relied primarily on state funding, which reimburses us for services provided to eligible clients. That reimbursement helps, but it doesn’t cover the actual cost of our staffing, programming, transportation, supplies, and space.

The difference is approximately $1,266 per client, every month.

As we’ve grown to serve more people, that funding gap has grown with us. It has reached a point where we cannot sustain this level of support without help from our community.

That’s why we’re asking for your support through a one-time or monthly donation. 💗

You don’t have to cover the gap for one person on your own. When people give together, $10, $25, or $100 at a time, it adds up to dependable support that helps us sustain the programs and personal attention our clients count on.
