Meet Annzie 💛
Annzie is as unique as her name. A self-proclaimed wild child, she loves to dance, sing, cuddle her stuffed cows, and spend time with her dog, who she affectionately calls her brother. Her favorite song, Girl on Fire, perfectly matches her spirited personality and strength.
At just 6 years old, Annzie was diagnosed with Fanconi anemia, a rare inherited blood disorder that prevents the bone marrow from making enough healthy blood cells. She came to St. Jude, where she underwent a bone marrow transplant with her big sister serving as her donor. Even after her transplant, Annzie continued receiving specialized care to help build her new immune system.
Today, Annzie is doing well, returning to St. Jude for checkups while chasing big dreams of becoming an artist or a rock star someday. Despite the heartbreak of childhood cancer, Annzie’s family found support at St. Jude.
We walk for kids like Annzie. Join us in supporting the lifesaving mission of St. Jude and helping families focus on what matters most — saving kids.
