Arthroscopy is a minimally invasive procedure used to diagnose and treat joint problems.
During the procedure, a small camera called an arthroscope is inserted into the joint through tiny incisions, allowing the surgeon to see inside the joint in real time.
Arthroscopy is commonly used for:
✔️ Meniscus tears
✔️ ACL injuries
✔️ Rotator cuff tears
✔️ Cartilage damage
✔️ Joint inflammation
Because the incisions are smaller, arthroscopy often means less pain and a faster recovery compared to traditional open surgery.
It’s commonly performed on the knee, shoulder, ankle, and other joints.
