Oshiro Pediatrics We are accepting most new families into our practice! We tend to accept you if your child is younger. They both went to medical school at Tufts.

Oshiro Pediatrics is a small pediatric practice with four providers seeing patients. Dr. Oshiro and Dr. Hom have practiced pediatrics in Las Vegas since 1996. They are married and have two children born in 1997 and 2002. Dr. Oshiro did his undergraduate studies at

Stanford while Dr. Hom did hers at Harvard. Dr. Oshiro did his pediatric residency at LSU New Orleans while Dr. Hom did her pediatric residency at Keesler Air Force Base. Dr. Oshiro and Dr. Hom are both board certified by the ABP and fellows of the AAP. DNP Cerdan joined the practice in 2009 and PA Knowles joined in 2018.

You can get vaccinated against influenza until June 30, 2025. On July 1, 2025, all flu vaccine will expire. If you have not been vaccinated against influenza this season, it is a good idea to get the flu shot now. It may even protect you if flu season comes early, for example, in October 2025.

Twelve more pediatric flu deaths bring the 2024-’25 season total to 216, topping last year’s non-pandemic total of 207.

The federal government is still giving out free COVID test kits! We aren't seeing much COVID right now but it might be nice to have a test kit in the house if you need it in the future.

COVID-19 testing can help you know if you have COVID-19 so you can decide what to do next, like getting treatment to reduce your risk of severe illness and taking steps to lower your chances of spreading the virus to others.

We just received flu shots for this season! We do not have any flu nose spray. Call us now and schedule a flu shot only appointment! Beat the rush before October. We have plenty of available flu only appointments right now. We don't have that many in October.
