To inform the public of the growing epidemic of opiate/he**in addiction in our town and across the US, and to provide resources and solutions to families and he**in addicts alike. Just a reminder, in case you need to hear it today: You matter. You’re not alone, and there is help out there.

Whatever life looks like for you right now, you don’t have to have it all figured out. Sometimes, the hardest part is knowing where to turn or finding the courage to ask for help. That’s 100% where community comes in.

At TiNHiH, we believe people need people. We’re here to help teens, adults, and families navigate mental health challenges and substance use, find support, and take those next steps toward recovery.

And maybe this is your reminder to look around, too. 💛 Is there someone in your life who could use a little extra support? Could you be the person who checks in, lends a hand, volunteers, or helps someone find the resources they need?

It takes a community to rally around people. Sometimes, showing up for someone can change everything. Maybe this is your calling!

National Opioid Awareness Day reminds us of the work happening every day to save lives.

Across Nevada, organizations, healthcare providers, recovery programs, community leaders, and advocates are working hard to prevent overdoses, expand access to treatment, support families, and help people find a path forward.

The need remains urgent. But so does the commitment to making a difference.
