Tired, dry, or achy eyes by mid-afternoon are something we hear about constantly. There are a lot of possible causes, but one of the most common (and most overlooked) is digital eye strain.

Here's how it can happen: when you're staring at a screen, you barely blink. Your tear film breaks down, your eyes dry out, and your focusing muscles stay locked in close-up mode for hours. Add the dry Las Vegas air on top of that, and your eyes are working overtime.

Blue light gets most of the blame, but the real culprits are usually way less glamorous, not blinking enough, focusing too close for too long, and a setup that probably wasn't built with your eyes in mind.
