Now this is truth!

Do you ever meet children walking around in adult bodies?

When people are emotionally reactive (vs. responsive), unaware of their own triggers and how they come across, and generally go through life on autopilot, it’s probably more likely… And that leaves people on the receiving end in a highly uncomfortable position.

Communicating our needs can be challenging especially if we were conditioned to be “good” and “go with the flow.” But your peace and happiness are directly linked with your authentic sense of your needs and the communication of them, especially when they aren’t being met.

So if someone expects you to read their mind, or if you expect someone to read yours, dial it back to:

-letting others know how you feel
-why that is so
-and give a request for another way to handle the situation in the future.

Though we cannot control how they will respond/react, we can communicate what is close to our heart. And sometimes, that is exactly where the conversation needs to start…

Wednesday’s Wonderful Women, join us for our next virtual “ladies’ night,” where you will be encouraged by our amazing group of women! In partnership with Hope for Prisoners, we hope that you will meet with us on Wednesday, June 7th from 6:00-7:30pm via Zoom. This week our guest speaker is Tai Fox!
Tai Fox was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. At a very young age, Tai was involved in a number of youth programs (Youth to Youth, Yes to Youth, and the Housing Authority Unity Council) that helped her to stay off the streets. She later became a youth advisor at age 18 and began working with youth through Clark County Parks and Rec. At the age of 21, Tai gave her life to the Lord and developed a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Nearly 20 years ago, Tai became a hairstylist in Las Vegas. She has been married to Vernon for 17 years and has 2 amazing children, Tai Tai (15) and Trey (12). She has served in ministry over the last 20 plus years in the capacity of usher/greeter, drama, youth, and God blessed her to lead praise dance ministry for 10 years!
Tai loves Jesus, and is a co-planter of Salt Church Int’l, in the Las Vegas Valley. Her mission is to be used by God through her story to see His people saved, set free, made whole, and reaching their destiny through Jesus! Tai often likes to remind others that, “It’s not how we start, but how we finish!” Tai is a woman who is BECOMING!

It is the intention of Wednesday’s Wonderful Women to provide participants with tools, tips, and techniques to improve emotional and mental health in their personal and professional lives.
