At Caffe Lena’s True Songs on November 6th, one of our very own Wildwood individuals, Debbie, will be taking the stage to share her personal story. To make the night even more powerful, The Voice winner Sawyer Fredericks will perform an original song inspired directly by her experience and strength.

As the fall season kicks into full swing, we are also heading into another budget year, meaning it is more important now than ever to understand what the intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) system needs.

This year, we are calling for a 3.4% Targeted Inflationary Increase, a CareForce Wage Investment, and the restoration of the Healthcare Enhancement Program.

Together, these investments will help providers retain skilled staff, keep up with rising costs and health care expenses, and ensure that people with I/DD can continue to receive the services and supports they rely on.
