👋 Hi Everyone!!
I know it has been awhile since I last updated you, thats because I really didn't have much to update... 💁♀️
Alot of stuff has changed for me in the last year. A LOT. Even more changed with this business since March and the start of C-19. I have had a good amount on my plate over the last year. Balancing, adjusting, scraping, missing, blockage, loss, gains and so much more. I have asked & prayed for clarification. I believe it is becoming more and more clear to me. Though it is not what I originally intended this business venture to go.... I also believe that deep down inside of me, there is a deeper calling. This was and is, just the first chapter of what Homebody Products was and is being created upon. So for that, I am ok with what has been told to me.
Which is..... Homebody products will be downsizing. Some of you know this since you had been following me through the years. I have a good bit of inventory to get rid of, and I hope you can help me out by either purching yourself or sharing the page. The remainder of the product will be sold again just like years past because of the date. Again, there is nothing wrong with these products... they just might not work as well as they did when they were first made. I give my products (not soaps) a year shelf life. Some oils help preserve and so do some other natural ingredients... but once combined and bottled, I go 1 year. Soap.... forever 🤣 might not smell as it once did... but it will clean ya as it always should!!
So - with this being said... something else was revealed to me. And that was... "don't forget why you did it...". That reason for me was to try and eliminate chemicals, one by one; from my life wherever I could. And I started with soap. And had told myself, eventually.... it will be everything for your Home & Body... which is where the Homebody products was created.
I listened for awhile to know exactly what to do next. And that is, I will also be adding
🎉🧼Basic Soap Making Classes 🎉🧼 .
I am going to gather all the carts once cleared. And rearrange then with only soap and my top 5 products....but no more than 10. So, if there is something you would like to see stick around... besides the soap, let me know.
With not being so busy with making so many products, all by hand; this will free up a good bit of time for my venture and learning growth into botanicals & herbs more. I want to know so much more!! So I have decided that I want to take the next 2 years and try and learn/do as much as I can to bring more information to you to share about the actual plants, herbs, powders and roots I choose to use in my products. So if I know, you know. 💁♀️
Going to also focus more on handmade items and less on all the extra retail stuff. So, if there is something you want in the accessories area, let me know. Going to "Destash" some of this stuff on a soaping destash page on Facebook.
Once some stuff is sold off and moved around to hold class, I will create an event. As of right now, there is a HUGE backorder on literally EVERYTHING from bottles, sprayers, ingredients and even botanicals; especially Elderberry. I am not considered to be OPEN to the public as of right now. (I fall into a non-existant category now since I'm a home business..I guess the only places you can't go is a bar and here... 🤦♀️) Which is why the appointment is necessary right now if you need to shop. Or I can still ship.
I'm going back to basic. If I can teach one person how to make their own soap... then I will feel I am helping you more than just selling you one bar. I think the art of sharing is slowly being lost. If anyone of you know me well enough, you will know that I would rather give my stuff away or trade it sometimes. I just want to share. This at times isn't good ;) but its still me. So, why not put my knowledge to use... and share that instead.... and still make some money ;) well, that is my hope. And that is what I am currently working on. There will be restrictions & requirements. So, stay up to date and follow .... I'll c ya soon 😘
