We are ecstatic to have Dr. Blakeney join our clinic! She’ll be the smiling face you’ll see on Thursday in Laurel! 🪥🦷🤩

The Pediatric Dental Group is proud to announce that Chauncey Blakeney, DMD has joined our practice!

Dr. Chauncey Blakeney is a native of Mize, Mississippi. She earned her Associate Degree from Jones College and her Bachelor’s Degree from Mississippi College before receiving her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2018.

Following dental school, Dr. Blakeney practiced general dentistry for six years, providing comprehensive care to patients across all age groups. During this time, she developed a strong interest in pediatric dentistry and chose to pursue advanced specialty training in the field.

Dr. Blakeney completed her Pediatric Dentistry Residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where she received extensive training in preventive, restorative, and behavior-guided dental care for infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs.

Dr. Blakeney resides in Petal with her husband, Chris, and their three children, Nolan, Stetson, and Charley Kate. They enjoy spending time outside and attending Southern Miss athletic events.

Join us in welcoming Dr. Blakeney to all of our locations as she continues the tradition of providing excellent dental care to the children and families we are privileged to serve. She will be accepting new patients at our Petal and Laurel locations.

This week, members of our PDG team are attending the Mississippi Dental Association Annual Session, where we had the privilege of celebrating our very own Dr. Belknap and his service as President of the Mississippi Dental Association.💙💛🤍

Leadership is about more than a title, and Dr. Belknap has led with dedication, integrity, and a heart for serving others. We are incredibly proud of the impact he has made on the dental profession and communities across Mississippi.

Our team and doctors are attending the 151st MDA Annual Session as we continue learning, growing, and investing in the best care possible for our patients.

As a reminder, our Laurel office will be closed Thursday, June 11th and Friday, June 13th and will reopen Monday, June 15th with normal business hours.

If you have any questions during this time, our Hattiesburg office will be open both Thursday and Friday with normal business hours and will be happy to assist you.
