Protecting your vision as you age is an important step toward maintaining your overall health. 🕶️

Regular eye exams can help detect age-related conditions like glaucoma and macular degeneration early, allowing for effective treatment options.

Don’t forget, summer’s extra UV exposure adds to the risk, so taking care of those eyes is essential. 🌞

Not all red, itchy eyes are pink eye!

Here are some other common conditions that can mimic conjunctivitis' characteristic redness:
- Dry eye syndrome: A lack of moisture on the surface of the eye can cause irritation, redness, and a gritty feeling that can be confused with pink eye.
- Sinus Infections: Inflammation from sinus congestion can cause redness and discomfort around the eyes, often mistaken for conjunctivitis.
- Blocked tear ducts: A clogged tear duct can lead to swelling, discharge, and redness that resemble the symptoms of pink eye.
- Allergic reactions: Allergies can cause irritated red eyes similar to those of conjunctivitis, especially in response to pollen or pet dander.
- Blepharitis: Inflammation of the eyelids often leads to irritation, crusting, and redness around the eyes, which can be confused with pink eye.

Experiencing persistent discomfort? Schedule an eye exam today. We'll help find the root cause and provide the right treatment.
