From the archives at the Abilene Spectacular. Tag Rice and the legendary Chiquita Pistol light up the 2003 Open Derby Finals with a jaw-dropping 231 to claim the championship.

The 1999 sorrel mare by Smart Little Pistol, owned by Tooter Dorman, was already cutting royalty. NCHA Open Futurity Champion, Super Stakes Open Derby Champion, Summer Spectacular Open Derby Champion, and a true Triple Crown winner with more than $545,000 earned.
