Due to the recent surge of COVID-19 cases in Douglas County along with the new mask order (effective 7/1/20), face masks will be required to come into this clinic and for treatment. While I respect individual opinions on mask wearing, I feel it is in the best interest for everyone's safety in this environment to have masks on. If you choose to forgo wearing a mask, I will need to cancel your appointment. If you have a medical condition that precludes wearing a mask, I will be happy to discuss this on an individual basis.

After much soul searching and weighing the best options for all, I have decided to close the office for the next 2 weeks. I want to thank my current clientele for their loving and understanding responses and hope everyone will hang in there with me until we can open the office again.

Quantum Shift is changing a few practices to continue provide service but also provide the safest environment we can. During the Shelter in Place order, we will be changing the schedule, opening Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays only. In addition, to help with social distancing, appointments will be approximately 45 minutes so clients can come and go without needing to occupy the same space at the same time.

Because of the recently announced Stay-At-Home order in Douglas County, the business will be closed today. I will be making some phone calls to figure out my status and see if I should close down for the rest of the week or limit my hours/ number of people. I will keep everyone updated personally, if you have scheduled appointments, or through FB.

In this time of fear and social distancing, it is especially important to practice our self care and reduce the stress in our lives. We strive in our treatment to improve quality of life and reduce the stress load of the every day. One of the advantages of Quantum Shift is that we do see people one at a time, in an environment that eliminates exposure to larger groups of people. Therefore, we will continue to do business as usual, unless the situation changes drastically and we are forced to shut down for the time being.

However, we respect that some of our clients may wish to stay home and we encourage you to do what is right for you. By the same token we encourage anyone that has cold or flu symptoms to take care of themselves at home and will not be charging any cancellation fees at this time.
