We’re celebrating 2 years with Jomar, one of our massage therapists who brings a thoughtful, intentional approach to his work.

What does he love most about Body Specific? His clients and coworkers—“all are awesome people.” 💙

His favorite service to receive? Sarga Body Work.

Jomar was inspired to become a massage therapist after experiencing a deep tissue massage following a sports injury—and seeing firsthand how much it helped him regain his range of motion.

These days, he’s diving deeper into subtle fascial work, exploring longer effleurage strokes and holds.

And one of the biggest things this work has taught him? How to maintain a healthy work/life balance.

We’re so lucky to have Chloe keeping things running at the front desk and bringing her friendly energy to Body Specific!

We’re celebrating 9 years with Julie Scruggs, one of our massage therapists who brings so much care, intuition, and experience to her work.

When asked what she loves most about Body Specific, her answer was simple: our clients, her fellow bodyworkers, and the leadership that supports them all. 💙

Her favorite service to receive? A 120-minute massage—because there’s plenty of time to truly relax.

Julie has always known she’s a caregiver. Massage was simply the path that felt right for her—and over the years, this work has taught her that she’s much more intuitive than she ever gave herself credit for.

What keeps her excited about this work is getting to help people while seeing growth in both her clients and herself.

And if you’ve ever gotten advice from Ryleigh, you’ve probably heard her say one thing: “Stretch more!”
