🎉 20 Years of Express Med 🎉

Twenty years ago, Express Med opened its doors with a simple but powerful vision.

Our founder, Melanie Stone, believed there was no reason patients should have to spend hours in a waiting room for common illnesses and injuries. Healthcare should be accessible, affordable, convenient, and quick.

That vision became Express Med.

We were honored to become the FIRST walk-in clinic in our community, offering a new approach to healthcare that put patients first. What began with treating common illnesses quickly expanded to include sutures, DOT physicals, IV hydration, wellness exams, X-rays, ultrasounds, occupational medicine, primary care, allergy services, ENT, weight management, and so much more. We have always looked for ways to better serve the needs of our community.

On our very first day, we cared for 17 patients.

Today, 20 years later, we have had the privilege of caring for more than 40,000 individual patients across Lawrence County, Tennessee, and Lauderdale County, Alabama. That number represents neighbors, families, friends, and generations of patients who have trusted us with their healthcare—and we don't take that trust for granted.

To our patients, thank you for choosing Express Med. To our incredible team, both past and present, thank you for your dedication, compassion, and commitment to our mission. You are the reason Express Med has become what it is today.

While healthcare has changed tremendously over the past two decades, our mission has not.
