Flex Audiology What makes us different is out unbundled model. What's unbundled? It's simple. A traditional hearing aid model is called "bundled."

We combine the highest levels of hearing healthcare with a flexible approach that offers you bundled, unbundled care options and acceptable of most insurance plans. Essentially, you pay up front for services for the life of the hearing aid which is typically 3-5 years. This can bring the initial cost for two hearing aids upwards of $6000! You pay this regardless of whether you see the provider one

time or 20 times. We believe you should only be charged for the product and the services you need at the time you need them.

Dr. Person, along with members of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology leadership panel, met with Rep. Judy Chu yesterday in order to discuss our ongoing efforts to modernize Audiology statues in Medicare. This important legislation allows for critical updates to an out-dated system that will allow our patients direct access to Audiologists without the need to visit their primary care doctor. This ultimately saves:

1) the patient significant money
2) shortens the treatment
3) allows for coverage of services that are in the scope of Audiology.

We are happy to report that Rep. Judy Chu signed on as a co-sponsor!

Noise protection from trauma to the ear is one of the easiest ways to prevent hearing loss. You don't need anything fancy and these inexpensive foams ones at less than 30 cents can do the trick.

She showed them the roll, stick and hold method.
