Gloria I. (Cortina) Ramsey, 95, of Morrisville, Pa, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 31, 2026.

Born in Trenton and a graduate of Trenton High School, Gloria was the daughter of the late Baslio and Mary Cortina.

Preceded by her husband Edward Ramsey, she was the sister of the late John Cortina, Americo Cortina, Benjamin Cortina, Bernice Sowsian and Nancy Procaccino. She is survived by sister Elaine Wilson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Gloria always enjoyed working. After graduating, she started working at General Electric (where she met Ronald Reagan), followed by US Steell, The Trentonian, and then finally the State of New Jersey.

In addition to her work, Gloria was an avid traveler and had visited many places around the world including Greece, Turkey, Italy and Africa.

The visitation for Gloria will be held on Wednesday August 5th, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.

Funeral services will begin at 10:45 AM.

Entombment will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum in Hamilton, NJ.

William Raymond Bennett passed away on Wednesday surrounded by family at Greenwood House at age 92.

Ray, as he was known by everyone, was one of the kindest and most gentle souls you could ever hope to meet. Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, he developed a love of singing and dancing as a young boy. Later, he proudly served in the United States Navy, and his eyes would light up any time he was asked about his ship, the USS Roanoke. He was the type of person who was always willing to help another person, and he always made it a point to show his appreciation for others with a kind and genuine “thank you”. He was a loving husband, a wonderful father, and the perfect example of what a grandfather should be.

He is predeceased by his wife of 50 years- Mary Marilyn Amburg, his sons- Bruce Michael Bennett and William Raymond Bennett Jr, his parents Philip and Marjorie and his sisters - Phyllis and Dorothea. He is survived by his 3 grandchildren, Lisa Bennett, Kyle Bennett and Lindsay Bennett, his daughter in law, Betty Bennett, his sister-in-law Margaret Beaston and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026 at 11:00AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.

Interment will follow at Ewing Church Cemetery, Ewing Twp., NJ

The visitation for William will be held on Monday morning from 10-11AM at the funeral home.

Necitas Palad Zabat, 90, of Lawrenceville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at Clover Meadows Rehabilitation Center in Lawrenceville, NJ.

Born in Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija, Philippines, she immigrated to the United States in the late 1980s. Necitas was a dedicated homemaker whose love was boundless; she loved taking care of family and cherished every moment spent together. She found great joy in visiting relatives, always eager to share stories and catch up over warm meals and conversations. Her family will forever love and miss her bedimpled smile, giggles, and laughter.

She was the daughter of the late Maximo and Crisanta Palad, wife of the late Ricardo Zabat, Sr., and mother of the late Rossano Zabat. She is survived by her loving children: Marissa Ocampo (Paredes), Joni Hocson (Rene), Ricardo Zabat Jr. (Marie Josephine), Purificacion Zabat, and Girlie Tamayo (Michael). She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Romeo (Sheryl), Sarah (Simon Joel), Genesis, James (Aya), Ian, Izzy, Karl, Miguel, Gavin, and Charlie; her great-grandchildren: John Michael, Zaira Shaylee, Denise Catherine, Simon Mateo, Lauren Olivia, Claire Nozomi, and Noah Kazuma; and her brother, Melanio Palad.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday morning from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 11:00 AM at The Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.

Frederick Rau Carman, 92, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Mineola, New York, on October 8, 1933, Fred carried throughout his life a spirit of kindness, wisdom, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.

Fred graduated from the University of Michigan and served as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army.

During his career as a Latin teacher at Princeton High School, he inspired and touched the lives of countless students through his love of learning, patience, and encouragement.

He was the son of the late Frederick and Elizabeth Carman and was predeceased by his beloved wife, Ann. Together they shared 68 years of marriage and a lifetime of love. Fred’s greatest source of pride was his family, and he is survived by his children: Stephen Carman and his wife, Maureen, of Ewing, New Jersey; Sally Comiski and her husband, Edward, of Indiantown, Florida; and Carl Carman and his wife, Michelle, of Ewing, New Jersey. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to eight grandchildren: Michael Comiski, Jonathan (Kelsey) Carman, Kevin Comiski, Caitlyn Carman, Timothy Comiski, Jenna (Bradley) Lomman, Joshua Carman, and Matthew Carman. He was also blessed with four great-grandchildren: Savannah Comiski, Jonathan Carman Jr., Grayson Comiski, and Carter Lomman.

Fred found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He enjoyed fishing, challenging friends at the bridge table, working on puzzles, and counting change. A lifelong University of Michigan Wolverines fan, he proudly supported his team through every season. For many years, he was a familiar presence at Princeton University basketball home games, where he enjoyed operating the game clock. He also shared a special bond with his beloved K-9 companion, Bella, who brought him great comfort and joy. He will be especially remembered for standing in the driveway or at the window to wave goodbye, a simple tradition that reflected his warmth, affection, and deep love for his family.

The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to the physicians, nurses, and staff of the Critical Care Unit at Capital Health Medical Center Hopewell for their exceptional compassion, care, and support.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940.

Robert N. Santello, 88, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at home.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Robert was a longtime resident of Lawrenceville. He proudly served his country in the US Army's Tank Division while stationed in Germany. He was a car enthusiast and spent his early career in the auto body and repair industry. He owned and operated Harney’s Corner Auto Body Repair for many years before selling the business and joining the Lawrence Township Parks and Recreation Department, with his primary role as caretaker of the Lawrence Township Senior Center for many years before his retirement from Lawrence Township.

Son of the late Salvatore and Rose Santello, husband of his beloved late Wanda Ann Santello; he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Michelle Santello-Hunt and her husband James; his son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Dawn Santello; his beloved granddaughters, Katelyn and Haley Santello.

A memorial service for Robert will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.

The visitation for Robert will be held on Friday morning from 10 AM to 12 PM at the funeral home.

William J. Diehl, 94, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026 at Capital Health Medical Center, Hopewell.

Born in Trenton, NJ, William was a longtime resident of Lawrenceville. He was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict, having proudly served his country with the US Army. William is a retiree of Nassau Conover Ford Lincoln Mercury, where he was the service manager for many years. He was well respected by all his clients throughout his career. He was a parishioner at The Church of St. Ann. William enjoyed playing golf over the years.

Son of the late Arthur and Sophie Diehl, father of the late William “Scott” Diehl; he is survived by his wife Eleanor Diehl; his daughter and son-in-law Ellen and Michael Matto; his daughter-in-law Linda DiDomenico Diehl.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 15, 2026 at 12:00PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.

The visitation for William will be held on Wednesday morning from 10AM-12Noon at the funeral home.

Interment will be held privately.

Raymond T. Britton, 81, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2026, surrounded by his loving and devoted family.

Ray is survived by his wife of 62 years, Kristine (Smith) of Myrtle Beach, his children; his son and daughter-in-law, John Britton and his wife Wendy, his daughter and son-in-law, Carol Tamasi and her husband Jeff, his son and daughter-in-law Joseph Britton and his wife Janet and his 7 grandchildren, Sarah, Allison, Amanda, Jeffrey, Kaitlyn, Sarah K. and Kyle A. as well as his 5 great-grandchildren, Hayley, Jaxon, Gianna, Ryan and Benjamin. He also leaves behind to mourn his loss, his sister and brother-in-law, Margaret McKenna and her husband Dennis, his sister-in-law Doris Britton, his dear friends Chet and Patty Williams and Rick and Linda Ernsberger and many nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Margaret Britton, his brother David Britton and his mother-in-law Dorothy Smith.

Ray was born in Princeton, NJ to John and Margaret Britton on June 7, 1945. He went to high school at Princeton High School and graduated in 1963. After graduating from the Sea Girt Police Academy, Ray joined the Lawrence Township Police Department in 1970 where he retired as a Detective after 29 years of service until 1999. After 2 years of retirement, he then moved on to work for the State of NJ as an Insurance Fraud Investigator in 2001 where he retired after 20 years in 2021. During his career he was awarded a Resolution Commendation from the Lawrence Township Council, an NJS PBA Certificate of Merit for Commendable Service, an American Legion Merit Medal from American Legion Post 414, a Silver Star for Bravery Award from American Federation of Police, Knights of Columbus Lawrence Council 7000 for Outstanding Service, and an Americanism Award for Outstanding Character and Performance of Duty from the Bordentown Lodge BPOE Elks.

Ray loved and cherished his time spending it with his family. His dry sense of humor made everyone laugh. He was the grill master whenever he had picnics or parties at his house. He enjoyed playing and watching golf. He also enjoyed watching his favorite teams the Yankees and the Eagles.

A Memorial gathering for Ray will take place on Friday July 17, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:000 PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648

A Prayer Service will be held at 6:45 PM

Krystyna Z. Korczak, 76, of Yardley, PA, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Mielec, Poland, she immigrated to the United States in 1963. She was a longtime resident of Trenton New Jersey where she and her husband owned Deals Camera Shop for many years before moving to Robbinsville at which time she earned a teaching certificate and worked for many years for Lawrence Township Board of Education as English as a second language teacher. She later retired and resided in Michigan before settling in Yardley PA. She was loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she loved to bake and to be at the beach.

Daughter of the late Tadeusz and Cecylia Sienkowski; brother of the late Michael Sienkowski; she is survived by her husband Eugene Korczak; her daughters Violetta and son-in-law Robert Adamczak, Jennifer and son-in-law Michal Szyszko; her grandchildren Haley Adamczak, and Maxximillian Szyszko; her sister Sylvia Drabiuk; her godson Eric Drabiuk; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 10:00AM at St. Hedwig Church, 872 Brunswick Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08638.

Interment will be held at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Ewing Twp.

Thomas Ritter, 82, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Saturday June 20, 2026.

Born in Trenton, NJ he was a long-time resident of Lawrenceville.

Son of the late Samuel Ritter and Theresa Pfeiffer. He is predeceased by his sister Elizabeth Gladney. Thomas survives by his loving wife Janet, son Thomas Ritter and his wife Meghan, son Kevin Ritter; grandchildren Madelaine, Olivia, Emma, and Avery; three brothers Robert Ritter, David Ritter, and Richard Ritter. Thomas will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbors.

After graduating from Trenton State College, where he played football for the Lions, he began his teaching career at Bordentown High School and then Hopewell Valley Central High School, before being one of the first teachers at the newly opened West Windsor Plainsboro High School, from which he retired after 25years.

Tom was a NJSIAA track official and active in the Capital Track and Field Officials Association and was also active in the Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church, working as an Elder for several years.

Never one to sit still, he continued working at The Lawrenceville School for several years, while also traveling with his wife, Janet. Tom also enjoyed golfing, spending beautiful days on the golf course with his many friends.

He was also kept busy hanging out with his granddaughters, Lainey and Livi; going to the park, working on crafts and other projects, taking them on train rides, putting up a train set each Christmas, teaching them how to be kind and compassionate, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. This was something he truly loved.

Tom was also very close with his three brothers, enjoying countless family gatherings, including Christmas parties, Independence Day picnics, Ruyter Bowls, Grundsow meetings and family reunions.

A longtime resident of the Colonial Lakelands, Tom had a special love for the neighborhood and Colonial Lake Park, where he and Janet raised their children and where he spent many days in the park with his grandchildren. He worked tirelessly with Friends of Colonial Lake Park, working on clean up days, gatherings, many meetings, and an in-depth history of the neighborhood.

The memorial gathering for Thomas will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 10 AM to Noon at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
