Today, we honor a very special friend who has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. It was a privilege to be part of your journey, to care for you, and to witness the unconditional love you shared with your family.

Dogs 🐕. Head shaking isn’t always “just a dog being a dog.” It can be one of the first signs of an ear infection.

⚠️ Watch for these common signs:
🐾 Frequent head shaking
🐾 Scratching at the ears
🐾 Redness or swelling
🐾 Unpleasant odor
🐾 Brown, yellow, or black discharge
🐾 Pain when the ears are touched

Ear infections can be caused by allergies, yeast, bacteria, ear mites, or trapped moisture—and they often require veterinary treatment to fully resolve.

All paws 🐾 up hi I’m Agnes my human said we were “just going for a ride.” 🚗

Next thing I know… I’m at Morningside Animal Care Center getting a check-up! 😅

Luckily, the doctor was super nice, gave me lots of love, told me I was the goodest patient, and I may have scored a treat or two. 🦴❤️

I guess the vet isn’t so scary after all… but I’m still expecting a pup cup on the way home. 🍦🐾

🥱🤪Did you know ? Your pets Nose is more than cute ! 🖤🤎🐾A wet nose isn’t always a sign of a healthy pet, and a dry nose doesn’t automatically mean they’re sick! Many things can affect your pet’s nose throughout the day, including naps, the weather, and activity levels.

✨ What you should watch for:
🐾 Thick or unusual discharge
🐾 Cracking or sores that don’t heal
🐾 Swelling or changes in color
🐾 Frequent sneezing or difficulty breathing

Loud Noises Can Be Scary for Pets!

🎉🎊Fireworks, thunderstorms, and other loud summer noises can leave our furry friends feeling anxious. Here are a few simple ways to help keep them safe and comfortable:

🐶 Keep pets indoors before the noise begins.
🏡 Create a cozy “safe space” with their favorite blanket or bed.
🎵 Play calming music or turn on the TV to help drown out loud sounds.
🦴 Offer a favorite toy or treat to help distract them.
🏷️ Make sure their collar, ID tags, and microchip information are up to date—frightened pets can sometimes escape unexpectedly.

Remember, even pets who have never been afraid before can become startled by sudden loud noises.

🌞 Beat the Heat with Your Pets! 🐾💦

Georgia summers can be tough on our furry family members! Here are a few simple ways to keep them safe and happy:

🐶 Walk early in the morning or later in the evening.
🐾 Test the pavement with the back of your hand—if it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for their paws!
💧 Always provide plenty of fresh, cool water.
🌳 Make sure they have access to shade when outside.
🚗 Never leave your pet in a parked car—not even for a few minutes.

☀️ Fun Tip: Freeze low-sodium broth or pet-safe treats in an ice cube tray for a refreshing summer snack your pet will love!
