Today we had so much fun celebrating Kimberly and Rachel together! While Elizabeth was away from the facility, we made sure to celebrate her in spirit and can’t wait to wish her a happy birthday in person. 🎈

🌾📚 What an amazing day of learning and exploring at the Great Plains Museum! The residents had such a wonderful time discovering the history of the Great Plains, learning about life on the prairie, and exploring fascinating exhibits about tornadoes, wildlife, Native American history, pioneer life, and so much more.

It was incredible to see everyone’s curiosity shine as they asked questions, explored the exhibits, and shared what they learned throughout the day. Outings like these are such a fun way to build knowledge, create lasting memories, and spend quality time together.

A huge thank you to the Great Plains Museum for providing such an educational and welcoming experience! We had an absolute blast and can’t wait for our next adventure! 💙🌪️🏛️

A special shoutout to Tony, who did an amazing job leading the training. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and great sense of humor kept everyone engaged while teaching us valuable, potentially life-saving skills. We learned so much and truly enjoyed every minute of it!

We are also so grateful for our amazing Parker Place staff, who show up every day with dedication, heart, and a willingness to learn important life-saving skills. Today in day/vocational programs, our residents created these special flowers by filling each petal with kind words. It was a wonderful reminder that even the smallest act of kindness can brighten someone’s day. 🌼

🐾❤️ Our residents had the best time cuddling, loving on, and spending time with all of the sweet animals at the animal shelter. There were so many smiles, wagging tails, and precious snuggles—it made everyone’s day! 🐶🐱

🎳🍟 What a fun-filled day with our amazing residents! Today we headed to the bowling alley, where everyone had a blast showing off their skills, cheering each other on, and sharing lots of laughs along the way. It was wonderful to see the smiles, encouragement, and friendly competition that made the day so special!

After bowling, we stopped at McDonald’s for lunch, where everyone enjoyed a delicious meal and had the chance to relax, visit with friends, and make even more great memories together.

Days like today remind us how important community outings are—they help build independence, strengthen friendships, and create moments our residents will always remember. We are so thankful for opportunities like these and can’t wait for our next adventure! ❤️🎳🍔

What an incredible day of learning! 🚑❤️

Today we had the opportunity to learn about mass casualty triage and the critical role each step plays in helping save as many lives as possible. A huge thank you to Lizzy for taking the time to come teach us and share such valuable knowledge!

We especially enjoyed the hands-on role-playing triage scenarios, which gave us the chance to put what we learned into practice.

We are so grateful for this opportunity and for everyone who helps make learning experiences like this possible. Thank you again, Lizzy! 💙👏

Another amazing day at the blood bank with Sam! ❤️🩸 Our residents absolutely love volunteering and giving back to the community. It’s such a rewarding experience watching them make a difference, all while learning the importance of kindness and serving others. We are so proud of each and every one of them! 💕👏
