This group offers a supportive space to connect with others who understand this kind of loss. You are welcome to share, or simply be present. There is no expectation for how you participate.

We meet on the third Friday of each month at 10:00am
Emy Frentz Building, 523 S. 2nd St., Mankato, MN

Hello Friends! Here's today's prayer...

Dear Lord,

We praise you and thank you as we bow our hearts before you. We think of the words in Psalm 146 and how you were amazingly described…

You are our hope…You are the maker of heaven and earth…You are forever faithful…You uphold the oppressed…You feed the hungry…You set the prisoners free…You give sight to the blind…You love the righteous…You sustain the fatherless and the widow…You frustrate the way of the wicked…
You are our God forever.

Please forgive us when we look more to ourselves or to others than to you and when we let the worries of the world consume us. We know that when we keep our hearts and minds on you, everything becomes so clear... we remember your past miracles… we remember the past victories… we remember your words that never fail, and we have hope that you are not done working yet. Thank you for the signs of hope that are all around us. Thank you for the unseen hosts and angels who are watching and protecting us. Please help us visualize these wondrous things in our minds so we will rise up today full of hope and courage.In the stillness of this moment, we pray for clarity. We pray for a sense of purpose. We know You did not create us to stay steeped in grief, fear, worry, or discouragement. You are the God of Hope and have given us power in Christ’s name to vanquish our fears, to overcome the evil one, and to overcome any temptation. We are so grateful that You are faithful to deliver and provide, and no one can stop You from achieving Your purpose and will in our lives.

Please help us to find refuge and solace in you this day. We welcome you into our lives and homes, and we thank you in advance for what you will do. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
