Rotary District Governor Michel-jon Pease stopped by our last meeting to encourage us to continue Creating Impact. He recognized a couple of members who have done that quietly and consistently. There are dozens more who work every day to serve the Le Sueur area. You can see his letter to the editor at the Le Sueur County News. Thanks, Michel-jon, for your leadership and enthusiasm.

Tiffany Van den Einde and Tonya Kahle enlightened us with their inspiring presentation at Rotary today, sharing the impactful work they do at MVAC, and highlighting the numerous ways they empower individuals to overcome challenges and make strides towards a brighter future.

The Rotary Club of Le Sueur was treated to the banjo and mandolin playing of Forte Fine Arts instructor Chris Walchuk at today’s noon meeting. Chris also shared some history of bluegrass music.

In addition to teaching banjo, mandolin, ukulele and guitar, Chris plays mandolin in the Bullypulpit Bluegrass Band!

The Le Sueur Rotary Club rolled up their sleeves and got to work, packing food boxes for 36 families on Tuesday afternoon! These boxes will go home with students dealing with food insecurity, to help families start summer off on the right foot.

The 36 boxes packed by Rotary members weighed in totaling 2,239 pounds of food!! 💪

Rotarian Nate Warden recently provided an update to our club regarding the Le Sueur Chamber.

The Chamber has transitioned into a volunteer-run organization with a community-focused approach. Current projects include developing a community calendar and supporting city spring clean-up efforts.
