⚽️ We’re officially HALFWAY through KinderKicks! 🎉

Nearly 40 little kickers are spending their Saturday mornings learning the basics of soccer, building confidence, making new friends, and—most importantly—having FUN! 💛⚽️

A huge shoutout to our amazing volunteer coaches for bringing the energy and patience every week, our generous sponsors for helping make this program possible, and all of the parents and families who show up, cheer on their kiddos, and make our soccer community so special. 👏

KinderKicks is all about giving our youngest players a fun and positive introduction to the beautiful game—and we couldn’t do it without all of you!

⚽️ KINDERKICKS STARTS THIS SATURDAY! 🎉

We can’t wait to kick off KinderKicks Saturday, August 1! 💛⚽️🖤

Here are a few reminders for our littlest soccer stars:

📅 First 4 Saturdays in August
⏰ 9:00–10:30 AM
📍 Icicle River Middle School fields

We’ll provide everything your kiddo needs to get started, including:
👕 Jersey
🧦 Socks
🛡️ Shin guards
⚽️ Soccer ball
🍎 Snacks for each team

💧 Please bring water!

👟 Cleats are NOT necessary. Any comfortable sneakers or tennis shoes your child can run around in will work great!

Get ready for four Saturdays of soccer, smiles, and fun! We’ll see you on the field! ⚽️🙌

Thanks to Coach Victor (Peshastin local) for hosting our community’s first Soccer Shots Camp last week for 4-8 year olds. The camp ran 9am to 12pm at the Osborn Fields and immediate feedback has been great!

Join us for World Cup Trivia Night at Icicle Brewing on Thursday, July 16 at 7:00 PM hosted by LSC Volunteer Connor Martin! Gather your teammates, wear your favorite jerseys, and test your knowledge of the beautiful game.

KinderKicks is coming up and we need just ONE MORE coach to help make KinderKicks happen this August!

No soccer experience? No problem. KinderKicks is designed to be fun, simple, and rewarding for both kids and coaches. Co-coaching is absolutely an option, making it easy to share the commitment with a friend, spouse, grandparent, or another soccer family.

NEED: Boys U8 and Boys U9 Coaches ⚽️

Nearly 40 boys are signed up to play U8 and U9 soccer this fall! Lots of kids are waitlisted, though, and won’t get on a team unless a couple coaches (or co-coaches!) volunteer. Please email [email protected] ASAP to help. And THANK YOU to those that have already volunteered to coach. 🙌

💫Details for Coaching💫

⚽️Fall Season runs end of August thru October
⚽️Commitment is 2-3 days per week. Mid-week after work for games/practices and some Saturdays for games. All practices are in Leavenworth and games half in town, half in Cashmere/Wenatchee.
⚽️We will provide a curriculum of coaching focuses and the specific rules for your age group. There are many resources for sourcing practice activities and games.
⚽️Minors (under 18) can coach, but an adult registered as a coach MUST be present at ALL times. So high schoolers can coach and bring their soccer know-how, but must be under constant adult supervision.
⚽️All coaches must pass a background check and complete mandatory SafeSport training
⚽️Coaches get a guaranteed roster spot for ALL their kids and complimentary registration
⚽️Coaches do not have to be related to players or have kids in the program, so please spread the word!

Soccer Camp ⚽️🌎⚽️ is off to a great start this week with visiting Challenger Sports Coaches!

LSC is hosting one more camp this summer August 17-21 at IRMS and it’s not too late to either signup a player or to host a coach.

Host families receive:
✅ One FREE camp registration
✅ $100 stipend for expenses
✅ An unforgettable cultural exchange experience

No experience is necessary—we’ll help you start the season with loads of resources, a coach dashboard and more support.

Highest Priority Openings:
❗️Boys U12 — No coach yet
❗️Girls U10 — Need a co-coach
❗️Coed U7 — 3 teams need coaches
❗️KinderKicks — 2 teams need coaches
