Public health officials are investigating an increase in Cyclospora infections across multiple U.S. states. While most children recover with proper treatment, it's important to know the signs and when to contact your pediatrician.

Cyclospora is an intestinal infection caused by eating food or drinking water contaminated with the parasite Cyclospora cayetanensis. The most common symptom is watery diarrhea.
