This Week's Wellness Win: Banana Split Social
Dimension of Wellness: Social Wellness
Activity: Residents gathered together to enjoy a delicious Banana Split Social, complete with ice cream, bananas, and all the tasty toppings.
Story: There is something special about sharing a sweet treat and even sweeter conversations. Residents enjoyed creating their own banana splits while laughing, reminiscing, and spending quality time together. Moments like these encourage social connection, create joyful memories, and remind us that some of life's greatest pleasures are the simple ones shared with friends. A special thank you to Good Shepherd Hospice for joining us and generously providing the ice cream and all the fixings that made this social extra special. Your kindness helped bring smiles to so many faces!

Starting our morning with a great Balance Academy class! It's always a wonderful way to get moving, improve strength and balance, and spend time with friends. Everyone did an amazing job today and started the day on a positive note. Keep up the great work! 😊💪

Activity: LHS CHEER TEAM

Story: We had the pleasure of having the Lebanon High School cheerleaders come spend time with us today! We had a great time helping with a car wash and then cooled off by enjoying popsicles together. Thank you to the cheerleaders for bringing so much energy, fun, and smiles to our day! 😊🚗🍧

Who knew wheelchairs and walkers could get the cheerleader treatment? 😄📣✨
Today, the Lebanon Cheerleaders traded pom-poms for washcloths and helped shine up some of the equipment our residents use every day. It may not have been glamorous, but their willingness to help wherever needed meant so much.
Thank you, Lebanon Cheerleaders, for bringing your smiles, servant hearts, and team spirit to Northridge today! Your kindness and helping hands made a difference, and we truly appreciate you spending part of your day with our residents. 💜🫶
