When a child is frustrated, overwhelmed, excited, or unsure, their behavior is often telling us something words cannot.

What an incredible summer of learning, exploring, creating, and making memories! As we sail into our final week of Summer Camp at Bumble & Bloom ELC, we're ending with one last adventure—Digging for Treasure!

Our little pirates will embark on exciting treasure hunts, solve clues, discover hidden gems, and use their imaginations as they search for treasure and adventure around every corner. ⚓🗺️

This week, campers will:
🏴‍☠️ Go on exciting treasure hunts
🗺️ Follow maps and search for clues
💎 Discover hidden treasures and gems
⚓ Explore through sensory play and hands-on activities
🌟 Celebrate an amazing summer filled with fun and friendship

While we're excited for one more week of pirate adventures, we're also taking time to celebrate all of the memories, friendships, discoveries, and growth that happened throughout Summer Camp 2026. Watching our campers learn, laugh, and explore has been the greatest treasure of all. 💛

Every story opens the door to a child's imagination.

When teachers read aloud, children are building so much more than a love for books. Storytime helps develop:

What helps a plant grow strong and healthy? This week, our campers are digging into the answer!

During Sun, Soil, & Growth Week, children will explore the essential ingredients that help plants thrive and discover how nature works together to create beautiful gardens.

Throughout the week, we'll be:
☀️ Learning how sunlight helps plants grow
🌱 Exploring the importance of healthy soil
💧 Discovering what plants need to survive and thrive
🌿 Observing the life cycle of plants
🪴 Caring for our own growing garden projects

Through hands-on activities, science exploration, and outdoor discovery, children will gain a deeper understanding of the natural world while building curiosity, responsibility, and a love for learning.

Just like plants need sunshine, soil, and care to grow, children flourish when they are nurtured, encouraged, and given opportunities to explore! 💛

Our furry family members depend on us to keep them safe—just like our children do! ❤️

Today is a great reminder to take a few minutes to review your family's fire safety plan and include your pets.

Here are a few simple tips:
🏡 Keep leashes and carriers near the door for a quick exit.
🚪 Place a pet rescue alert sticker on your front window so first responders know pets are inside.
🚫 Never leave candles or open flames unattended around curious pets.
🚒 Practice your family's emergency escape plan so everyone knows what to do.

A little preparation today can make a big difference tomorrow.
