This month, Becca had the opportunity to speak at the Leadership Forum for the third-year Doctor of Physical Therapy students at Mount St. Joseph University. 🤍
She shared a little about her journey as a physical therapist, business owner, endometriosis warrior, mom, and pelvic floor PT — but more importantly, she talked about why leadership matters in healthcare.
Because being a great physical therapist isn’t just about what you know. It’s about how you lead, how you listen, how you advocate, and how willing you are to walk alongside people in some of their hardest moments.
One of the messages she shared was:
“Your most effective ministry will come out of your deepest hurts.”
Our experiences shape us. Our struggles can give us empathy. And sometimes, the things we’ve walked through become the very things that equip us to serve others in a deeper way.
It was such an honor to spend time with the future generation of physical therapists and encourage them to lead with knowledge, compassion, courage, and purpose. 🩷
Thank you, Mount St. Joseph, for inviting Becca to be part of this conversation!
