🪄🌿 Why Mama Mischief?

Well, there's a little story behind that name.

If you know me, you probably know I'm a bit of a Harry Potter girl. And if you know Harry Potter, you know the phrase "Mischief Managed." 😉

But the name became something a little more personal than just a Harry Potter reference.

There's the Mama part. Because motherhood is a beautiful, chaotic, messy, wonderful adventure. We're raising little humans, figuring out life, and somehow managing to keep everyone alive while forgetting where we put our own coffee.

Then there's the Mischief.

I've always been drawn to the things that make people question the norm. Herbalism, for example. Working with plants, learning traditional remedies, making things with your own two hands, and exploring different ways to care for yourself and your family.

For generations, people who worked with herbs and traditional remedies were sometimes considered strange, unusual, or downright weird. And even today, choosing a more natural approach can earn you a few raised eyebrows.

But here's the thing: different doesn't automatically mean wrong. I believe in learning, asking questions, doing our research, respecting the plants God created, and understanding what we're putting on and in our bodies.

Mama Mischief is a little bit of all of that.

A little Harry Potter inspiration, a little herbal curiosity, a whole lot of motherhood, and the freedom to do things a little differently.

Because why should we always color inside the lines? Why shouldn't we question things, get our hands dirty, make our own remedies, and have a little fun along the way?

And really, if we're going to spend our days being mamas, making herbal concoctions, challenging the occasional norm, and getting into a little harmless mischief, we might as well have a name for it.

So here's to the mamas, the curious minds, the plant lovers, the question askers, and the ones who were never particularly good at staying inside the lines.

Mischief managed? Not quite. We're using our brains over here, and botanicals. After all, a little curiosity never hurt anyone. 😉🌿

🌿 Bloom & Tangled | Postpartum Hair Oil 🌿

Let me tell y’all about something I made for myself back in 2024 that has stuck with me ever since. 🤎

I created Bloom & Tangled when I was deep in postpartum. I was losing my hair, already struggling with depression, and watching my hair fall out just made me feel even less like myself. Sometimes those little things hit harder than people realize, especially when you're already trying to adjust to life as a new mama.

So, I made something for ME. 🌿

And guess what? I've had this SAME bottle since 2024, and I've used it almost every day since!
