Our Director of Addictions & Recovery Support Services; Macy Simmons was honored to collaborate with the Indiana Pharmacy Association in sharing her personal story and experience with medication-assisted treatment in recovery.

As a key objective of our Su***de Overdose Fatality Review (SOFR) initiative, we recognize that a significant number of individuals engage in pharmacy interactions within a 12 month period prior to a fatal overdose. These interactions can be crucial, and the development of this series serves as an excellent foundation for training our pharmacy professionals on Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).

We extend our gratitude to Molly Nichols and all the dedicated individuals working on this project at the IPA.

Sylvia’s Child Advocacy Center in Boone County is dedicated to protecting children from abuse in every corner of our community and now you can help them! They only need to raise $5,000 to meet their total goal of $15,000. Now through 12/31, donations will be matched by the Comm. Foundation of Boone Co. together with the Ind. Center for Prevention.
Every dollar raised covers the cost of Child Lures and Teen Lures, two programs for Boone County youth to learn about body safety, sexual abuse, and how to respond bravely and safely.

Now through 12/31, donations will be matched by the Comm. Foundation of Boone Co. Together with the Ind. Center for Prevention, we're raising $15,000 for 12,500 kids in Boone County.

We’re really excited about Boone County's TI-ROSC, a program initiative for both those in the community and professionals. TI-ROSC promotes an understanding and awareness of the direct correlation between trauma and addiction. This empowers hope for people and families seeking recovery.
