🌟 Staff Spotlight: Meet Mya Glenn! 🌟

At Best Care Senior Living, we’re proud to recognize the incredible team members who make our community feel like home. Today, we’re shining the spotlight on Mya Glenn! 💙

Mya is one of our dedicated Med Techs and is originally from Crystal River, Florida. Before joining Best Care Senior Living, she worked as a waitress and in home health. Through those experiences, she realized that caring for seniors was exactly where she was meant to be—and we’re so grateful she chose this path!

When she’s not at work providing compassionate care, Mya loves spending time at the beach, exploring nature on walks, and making memories with her daughter, A’veah. She also has another little blessing on the way, and we’re so excited for her growing family! 👶💕

Thank you, Mya, for your kindness, dedication, and the heart you bring to our residents every single day. We are so lucky to have you as part of the Best Care family! 💙

This week’s activities were all about fun, friendship, and making wonderful memories. Residents enjoyed a sweet ice cream social, got creative during arts and crafts and shared plenty of laughs and friendly competition during bingo and our bulls eye game.🎯

Today at Best Care Senior Living it was filled with smiles, sweet treats, and wagging tails. 🍰🐾🐶

We celebrated National Cheesecake day by enjoying delicious cheesecake together, making for a sweet afternoon full of laughter and great conversations. We were also thrilled to welcome two very special therapy dogs 🐶, who brought comfort, joy and happy moments to our residents.🩵❤️

🌟Staff Spotlight: Meet Lynnette Vailancourt!🌟

This week we’re excited to introduce Lynnette, Valiancourt our dedicated Activities assistant!

Originally from Hampton, New Hampshire, Lynnette brings experience in both activities and marketing along with an associates of science degree her passion for senior care, began early in life as she grew up, surrounded by it and is proud to be following in her grandmother‘s footsteps.

When she’s not creating engaging activities for our resident, Lynnette enjoys photography and nonprofit work. 

 We’re so grateful to have Lynnette’s creativity, compassion, and enthusiasm as part of our team thank you for all you do to make every day brighter for our residents. 🩵😊🥰

🌟Resident Spotlight: Kathleen Ann Benner 🌟


Originally from New Hyde park New York, Kathleen built a meaningful career as a Registered Nurse specializing in psychiatric nursing for the State of Connecticut. Her compassion and commitment to helping other touched countless lives throughout her nursing career.

Kathleen is a proud mother of three children 2 sons and 1 daughter and treasures the memories and love they share.

When she’s wasn’t spending time with her family, Kathleen enjoyed working on puzzles and going shopping, two hobbies that keep her engaged and bring her joy. She also loves watching crime shows always enjoying a good mystery.

One of her proudest accomplishments was putting herself through nursing school a testament to her determination and hard work. We are honored to have Kathleen as part of our Best Care Senior Living community 🩵❤️

What a wonderful time we’ve been having at Best Care Senior Living!❤️

Our residents have been enjoying music celebrating our July birthdays, soaking up the sunshine, and having a great time playing bingo🎶🎂☀️🥳🍧

We were also honored to recognize our veterans during a special spotlight Christmas in July , made even more meaningful by thoughtful guest, who visited with stockings for all of the veterans to enjoy🇺🇸🎅

It’s the smiles, laughter and time we share together that makes every day so special. Thank you to everyone who helps create these wonderful memories with our residents!🩵

Smiles, laughter, and great memories at Best Care Senior Living! 💙
Our residents enjoyed a fun-filled lineup of activities, including bingo, arts and crafts, ball toss games, and refreshing, tasty drinks. We were also blessed with a special visit from the Lutheran Church, bringing even more joy, fellowship, and connection to our day. Every moment is an opportunity to connect, create, and celebrate life together.

🎉 Meet our new Maintenance Director, Michael!

Please join us and giving a warm welcome to our new Maintenance Director, Michael!

Michael was born in St. Petersburg, Florida and grew up splitting his time between Saint Pete and Homosassa giving him strong roots right here in our community.

 When he’s not keeping things running smoothly around the building, you’ll likely find him out on the river or enjoying a day of cloudy weather fishing his favorite kind of fishing. Most importantly Michael loves spending quality time with his 10-year-old daughter making memories together through fun adventures and Activities.🩵

We’re excited to have Michael on our team and look forward to all he’ll bring to our community. Be sure to say hello and help us give him a warm welcome.☺️
