Good Morning!! I want to thank everyone that follows me on Facebook. I appreciate your patronage. Will be having some sales come October to all my FB followers. You can look up the items I sell on Ebay, but you will have to purchase them thru me instead!! It will save you and me all the Ebay taxes & costs they keep increasing. I will include my phone number and email address so you can contact me for your purchase(s). I will not accept credit cards, but will take money orders & Paypal. I will require your email address (for paypal) and for notification of what you owe. I have strikers and a very few slate calls left, and there won't be any new ones offered. If you have been following me for a while, you know I am ready to retire. 27 years has been long enough, and I am so fortunate to have developed a following. I sell quality handcrafted products, and stand behind them. So watch for a posting in October that tells you of all the sales I'm having, and I'll look forward to selling my products to you. I want to thank all my followers and purchasers of my calls. We are coming to an end of an era. Probably by the end of the year I will be closing the doors (so to speak). So, if you want any slate calls, I suggest you get them now. I have a few slates left, but I'm selling them quickly, so get them now while there are still some to get! Strikers are available, but some are running very low, or sold out, and there won't be anymore. I appreciate all the support you all have given me over the last 17 years, and I hope you all have a wonderful hunting season.

USPS has announced a temporary 8% price increase for domestic shipping rates for anything shipped on or after April 26th, 2026.

This time-limited price change is driven by higher transportation costs across the market ⛽️

USPS expects this rate increase to stay in place through January 17, 2027, with an 8% increase across these services:

Ground Advantage
Priority Mail
Priority Mail Flat Rate
Priority Mail Express

WHAT THIS MEANS IS THAT POSTAGE RATES WILL INCREASE FOR MOST OF MY SALES. I HAVE NO CONTROL IN THE RATES, AND I APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE IT ENTAILS. I WILL CONTINUE TO SHIP THE CHEAPEST WAY I CAN FIND WITH WHATEVER VENDOR I CAN. WENDY

Well, still have a LOT of snow, and now again the cold temperatures. OK weather, it's time to go away now. I'm ready for Spring and regrowth. Just did up some wormy chestnut plexiglass and hickory strikers, and listed them on Ebay. They are really nice!! Spring sales are starting. Not making much new, because this may be the last year for sales (I know I keep saying this, but this is real this time.) Have very few slates left, many different strikers, but some are limited, and no box calls left.Items range from corncob strikers to multiwood strikers with Mopani, Kingwood, and Ebony tips. Going to have a few more wormy maple pocket slates, but not many, so if you see them listed on Ebay, get them when you see them, or miss out. I want to thank my followers, clients, and well wishers for 27 years of turkey calls. There has been many ups and downs, but it's always a pleasure to send out the calls and see the pictures afterwards. Be safe, keep warm, & Good Hunting!

Well, another year has ended and a new one has begun. Hopefully a little brighter and prosperous. Still trying to get that one more deer for the freezer, and food for the dogs (make canned dog food out of the scraps). Got a small button buck during senior season (yes, I'm old! LOL), but need another one so the dogs will continue to eat good this next year. How'd everyone do with their turkey hunting this year? Didn't get out (no turkeys around!), and too busy with the calls. I know I keep saying this, but this will be the last year for the turkey call business. Have strikers left, but the box calls are all sold, slates are dwindling down, and have run out of some strikers. If you or someone you know is wanting to get some strikers (especially ones you don't have), get them now, because I'm not making any more. (just selling the inventory I have). Have been in the business for 27 years now, and I think most people have gotten what they want. I so value all the repeat customers, as well as the new ones, and it has been a privledge to have the following I have. Still have listings on Ebay, but did discontinue the website, so if you see something you want on Ebay, give me a call, or an email, and I'll get you a better deal. Now with all that said and done, I hope everyone has a blessed new year. Good Hunting.

So, how'd everyone do with spring turkey? Not too much success around here. Hubby out almost every day, but had rain most days, so hunting season really crappy. Hope you have a wonderful summer, enjoy those picnics with all that wonderful food, and congratulations to all the new grads. Good Hunting!
