Linda Kay Smith, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, peacefully left this world on October 20, 2026, at her home in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a service to honor Linda’s life will be held on November 13, 2026, at 6:00 PM at Langsford Funeral Home, located at 115 SW 3rd Street, Lee’s Summit, MO 64063. Family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of a remarkable woman who touched so many hearts.

The Rev. Mark Alan McGuire, 74, died October 25, 2026, at his home in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday, October 30, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 416 S.E. Grand Avenue, Lee’s Summit. The service begins at 11 a.m. at the church. Private burial at Mt. Washington Cemetery in Independence, Missouri.

George Hubert Neth, 92 years old, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2026, surrounded by family.

As per Hubert’s wishes, a private family graveside service will be held at Arley Cemetery. The family invites friends to join them for Hubert’s Ice Cream Social at Grace United Methodist Church in Lee’s Summit, MO, from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2026.

Rex Anthony Tarwater, age 71, of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, passed away October 9, 2026 at his home.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a service at 2:00 p.m. at Langsford Funeral Home in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Raytown, Missouri.

After a full, but too short life, Karen Beth Cleaver, passed away Friday, October 16, 2026 at St. Luke’s Hospice House in Kansas City, MO, age 61, after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Her family and friends are welcome to a visitation held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 10:00AM with her funeral Mass to be celebrated by Father Tom Holder immediately after all 11:00AM, both at Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic Church 130 NW Murray Rd., Lee’s Summit, MO 64081. The interment of her body will be at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Higginsville that same day at 2:00PM.
