🔥 179 YARDS. 2 TOUCHDOWNS. FIRST VARSITY GAME.
Huge congratulations to Matthew Ahrens on an incredible varsity debut against Blue Springs South!

The sophomore rushed for 179 yards and 2 TDs, putting him #3 in Missouri in rushing yards after opening week. 🏈💨

But what impressed us most? He was back at Active Strength Saturday morning recovering.
Mobility work. NormaTec boots. Game Ready. Massage therapy. Taking care of his ankles, knees, shins, and legs.

The highlights happen on Friday night but staying healthy, available, and ready for the next one starts with recovery. 💪

Active Strength Co. didn't add random exercises to a tennis player's routine-they built a 10-week sequence targeting the exact demands of a serve: rotational power first, then explosive force, then court-specific integration. Each phase had a measurable checkpoint. The result: 12 MPH faster serves and the confidence to trust it under pressure. That's the difference between training hard and training smart.

Huge shoutout to the 16U Top Gun Softball team for making program history with the most stolen bases in a single season! 🥎💨

These girls put in the work with us at Active Strength, focusing on becoming faster, stronger, and more explosive — and then took that speed to the field and made it count.

That’s what team training is all about. It’s not just getting faster on a stopwatch. It’s building speed and power that translates when the game is on the line.

This is more than just exercise it’s a structured movement program designed to help homeschool students build:

Led by Liz Babcock, who brings a background in psychology, elementary education, martial arts, and youth fitness, each class is intentionally kept small (8–12 students) so every child receives personal attention in a fun, encouraging environment.
