We understand, it might catch you off guard when your doctor's office asks for a credit card to remain on file, so here are some more details. Just like hotel and rental car agencies ask you for a card on file, more medical practices are doing the same thing. Everyone's insurance covers varying amounts of their bill and sometimes you will still have a balance after insurance pays out. Having a credit card on file allows that balance to be taken care of easier, taking steps away from the billing and collection process. Don't worry, you will always be notified 5 days before your card will be charged. Remember, your insurance sets the remaining balance, not the medical practice.

IMPORTANT FOOT-SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

Our office will be closed from July 20th to July 24th because—shocker—even podiatrists need to put their feet up once in a while!

While the doctor is away on a strict regimen of 0% charting and 100% sunshine, our phones will still be open! Our front desk team will be ready to take your calls and get your future appointments on the calendar.

So if your feet need some love later this summer, you can still reach us to lock in your spot. We will step right back into full office hours on Monday, July 27th!

For any medical emergencies while the doctor is away, please visit the nearest urgent care or emergency room.

Patients, drop your best advice in the comments: What is the number one rule for a podiatrist trying to completely forget about feet for a week?
