Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can affect anyone who has experienced or witnessed a traumatic event. Its impact may show up as anxiety, difficulty sleeping, flashbacks, feeling constantly on alert, or withdrawing from loved ones. Many people carry these struggles silently, but support can make a difference.
This PTSD Awareness Month, ICCHC encourages our community to:
✔ Recognize the signs
✔ Start conversations without judgment
✔ Seek help when needed
✔ Support those on their healing journey
Recovery is possible, and no one has to face PTSD alone. If you or someone you know is struggling, reach out to a healthcare provider or mental health professional for support.
