Private Pay Nursing Services
If your loved one requires more advanced medical care, we’re here to help. Unlike traditional home care services, our private nurses provide one-on-one advanced care to ensure the safety and health of your loved one. Our private duty nurses are either registered nurses (RNs) or licensed practitioner nurses (LPNs). Private Duty Nursing Services (PDN)
PDN is medically necessary continuous, substantial and complex nursing services provided by a licensed nurse (RN or LPN) in the patient’s home. Private Duty Nursing is a benefit covered by NC Medicaid and some private insurance. Intellectual and Developmental Disability Services (I/DD)
Under Medicaid Innovation Waiver Services, we provide the following intellectual developmental disability services: Community Living and Support, Community Networking, Respite Services, and Integrated Care.

AssistedCare is pleased to announce Tionne Faison as our Employee Spotlight.

Since joining us in April of this year, Tionne has demonstrated dedication to compassionate caregiving. She takes pride in providing service that reflects the high standard of care she would expect for her own family, she emphasizes the importance of extending respect to every client.
Tionne states that her supervisor always makes sure she has what she needs to be successful in the field and she appreciates that. Since the spring of 2022, Louise Cornwall has been a dedicated member of the AssistedCare team. Driven by a desire to help others, she finds a profound sense of purpose in caregiving and appreciates the opportunity to contribute to the greater good. For Louise, the most rewarding aspect of her work is witnessing the joy, happiness, and contentment on her clients' faces when they realize someone is there for them. As she describes it, "I am happiest when the Lord wakes me up and I am doing something rewarding like working with others that are in need".

Outside of her professional life, Louise prefers reading non-fiction, choosing to learn about real-world events over imaginary stories. Louise’s professional approach is defined by her people-oriented mindset and a passion for her role. It comes from a genuine love for the work and a people-oriented approach. Louise advises fellow caregivers to remain patient, especially when clients are having difficult days.

Alfredia Cobia has been a dedicated Hab Tech at AssistedCare since the fall of 2023.

Alfredia believes that caregiving is her true calling, a journey she began at the age of 12 while caring for her uncle. She truly enjoys her role, especially bringing her clients into the community to experience new things. She takes great pride in helping her clients access knowledge and express themselves on their own terms.

When she is not with her clients or her family, Alfredia enjoys sewing. She finds the process meditative and enjoys the sense of accomplishment that comes from creating something from scratch. Alfredia’s advice to others in the field is simple: love what you do. She believes that when you approach this work with love, it is incredibly rewarding for both the caregiver and the client

Matthew Police has been a valued employee at AssistedCare since 2019.

Matthew finds great fulfillment in supporting those who cannot fully care for themselves. He truly enjoys getting to know his clients and participating in the activities they love. Outside of work, Matthew enjoys playing video games and visiting the beach.
