Five Counties Nursing Home is pleased to partner with SenovaCare to bring convenient onsite dental services directly to our residents!

In the coming weeks, family members and responsible parties may receive a phone call from SenovaCare regarding dental services, insurance information, and available treatment options. These calls are a normal part of the enrollment process and help ensure residents have access to quality dental care without having to leave the facility.

🍨🎲 Ice Cream First, Yahtzee Second! 🎲🍨

Our residents enjoyed a delicious ice cream social this afternoon, complete with their favorite toppings and plenty of sweet treats. After everyone had a chance to enjoy their ice cream, the fun continued with a few rounds of Yahtzee and some friendly competition.

And let’s be honest—the staff couldn’t resist joining in on the fun, either! After all, quality control is a very important part of any ice cream social. 😉🍨

From sharing laughs over ice cream to rolling dice with friends, it was an afternoon filled with smiles, conversation, and great company. Some residents were happy to pose for photos, while others made it clear that finishing their ice cream was the top priority! 😄

These are the moments that make Five Counties feel like home. ❤️

🚑❤️ During National EMS Week, we want to give a special thank you to our local ambulance crew for the thoughtful snack tray they brought to our team at Five Counties Nursing Home!

We are especially proud to have staff members who serve our community in more ways than one — including members of our nursing team who volunteer as EMTs and others currently going through EMT classes and training. 👏 Their dedication to caring for others both inside our facility and throughout our community is something truly special.

Rural ambulance services rely heavily on volunteers, and there is always a need for individuals willing to step up and serve. If you have ever thought about volunteering with your local ambulance service, now is a great time to learn more. You do not have to do it alone — training opportunities are available, and every volunteer makes a difference. ❤️

Happy Belated Nurses Day to the incredible nurses of Five Counties Nursing Home! 💙

The past week has been a whirlwind as we jumped right into Nursing Home Week festivities. In the middle of all the excitement and chaos, we never want to miss the opportunity to recognize the incredible nurses who keep our facility moving every single day.

Thank you for the compassion, patience, teamwork, and dedication you show to our residents and each other. Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and we are so grateful for the heart you pour into Five Counties Nursing Home. 🩺❤️

A very special shoutout to our amazing DON, Bailee Storm, for all that she does for our residents, staff, and facility. Your leadership, dedication, and constant support do not go unnoticed, and Five Counties is incredibly lucky to have you. 🌸

We are also incredibly thankful for Stacy Drayton, Tamara Derschan, Avery Haase, Haelee Wiechmann, Kate Westphal and Jeremy Friebel for the care, compassion, and dedication you bring to our residents every single day.

🌸✨ Day Five wrapped up an incredible Nursing Home Week here at Five Counties Nursing Home, and our facility was truly “In Full Bloom!” ✨🌸

We ended the week on such a high note with live music from Russ King, who filled our home with wonderful music, smiles, and great memories for our residents, staff, and families. 🎶💐

We were also excited to have Sassy Sodas owner Abbie Hulm join us to serve specialty drinks for both our staff and residents. The drinks were a huge hit and such a fun way to celebrate the end of an amazing week! 🥤🌼

From themed days and laughter to music, treats, activities, and time spent together, this week reminded us just how special our Five Counties family truly is.
