Back-to-school season always shows up in our office a few weeks in!

🤧 Lots of sniffly kids and tired parents around Lenexa this fall... we see you!

This time of year, Mindfully Made | Herbal Wellness & Skincare elderberry syrup is our go-to. It’s made by a local family in Lawrence who fresh-press organic, Midwest-grown elderberries in small batches with raw honey from hives all over the Kansas City area.

They add ginger, cinnamon, clove, and a little lemon, so it’s lightly sweet and an easy sell for kids.

Elderberry has been used for generations to support the body through the colder months, and I love having a local option we trust.

We carry it right here in the office. Grab a bottle at your next visit, or just ask Stacy at the front desk 🍯

A quick note: because it’s made with honey, it’s for kiddos over 1.

If you’re pregnant, nursing, or take other medications, check with your provider first. We’re always happy to talk it through with you.

I’m Dr. Lauren, and I own Restore Family Chiropractic in Lenexa, KS.

My passion is helping adults with disc and nerve pain who feel like they’ve tried everything. Herniated discs, sciatica, numbness, and tingling down an arm or leg.

My team and I listen, find the real cause, and help you heal without drugs or surgery.

Every new patient starts with a thorough exam and in-office X-rays. From there, Dr. Morgan and I build a plan that often includes spinal decompression. And I still love caring for moms-to-be and little ones too.

I’m Dr. Lauren. I became a chiropractor because I know what it’s like to not be heard as a patient, and I built Restore to be the office I’d want to walk into myself.

Dr. Morgan joined us with the same heart for helping people get back to what they love. She’s a former cheerleader who got hooked on chiropractic after it kept her on the mat.

Think of your spinal discs like jelly-filled donuts. Over time (and even by the end of a long work day), they naturally lose height and get compressed.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This compression can irritate nerves, causing pain and limiting mobility.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Spinal decompression therapy uses precise, computer-controlled tension to gently stretch your spine, creating a vacuum effect inside the discs.

This negative pressure helps rehydrate and rejuvenate the discs (gives them a drink), drawing in nutrients and water while relieving pressure on pinched nerves.
