A huge shoutout to our amazing team members who brought the fun and the flashbacks today — our DON Jordan Nicole Landess-Ray, Dietary Aide Chelsey Brumfield, and CNA Lena Darling! Their outfits, smiles, and energy helped make today so much fun for our residents and staff. 💕

We handed out special employee awards along with a $5 gift card to recognize some of the hardworking, caring, and dedicated individuals who help make our facility feel like home every single day. From teamwork and leadership to kindness and dependability, we are so thankful for the heart our staff puts into caring for our residents and supporting one another.

This week at Lenox Care Center we officially kicked off National Nursing Home Week with hearts full of gratitude and smiles all around! 🌸💐

Monday, our staff took part in our Gratitude Card activity — sharing kind words, appreciation, and heartfelt messages with one another. It was such a meaningful way to celebrate the people who make our facility feel like home every single day. 💌

Tuesday brought even more fun with our Snack Cart making its way around the building! From sweet treats to quick pick-me-ups, it was a small way to show appreciation to our amazing staff for all the care, compassion, and hard work they give each day. 🍫🥤

We are so excited for the rest of our “Moments in Bloom” week and all the memories still to come! 🌷✨

Getting prepared for tomorrow!

Tomorrow is a special day at Lenox Care Center as we celebrate Mother’s Day with our wonderful residents and their families! 🌸💐

We would love for families to join us for our “Painting Pots with Mom” event tomorrow! Enjoy a fun afternoon filled with laughter, creativity, flowers, and special memories with the amazing mothers and mother figures in our lives. 🌷🪴

🍽️ Lunch begins at 12:00 PM
🎨 Pot painting starts at 1:00 PM

🌸✨ It’s almost time for National Nursing Home Week at Lenox Care Center! ✨🌸

This year’s theme, “Moments in Bloom,” is all about celebrating the joy, laughter, kindness, and memories that make our facility feel like home. We have a FULL week of fun planned for our residents and staff, including special treats, activities, cookouts, appreciation moments, and of course… our themed dress-up days! 🌼💕

Here’s what’s coming up:

🩷 Monday (11th) – Pajama Day
Start the week cozy and comfy while we kick off our Gratitude Wall celebration!

🍿 Tuesday (12th) – Twin Day
Dress like a coworker or resident and enjoy our staff snack cart!

🏡 Wednesday (13th) – Dress Like a Resident Day
One of our favorite traditions! Plus mini staff awards throughout the day.

🕺 Thursday (14th) – Throwback Thursday
Break out your favorite 60’s, 70’s, or 80’s outfits for a blast from the past!

🌴 Friday (15th) – Tropical Shirt Day
We’ll wrap up the week with Leadership Shoutouts and a cookout for staff and residents!

We cannot wait to celebrate all the beautiful moments that bloom here every day through the love, compassion, humor, and dedication of our amazing team and residents. 💐

🌸 Moments in Bloom at Lenox Care Center 🌸

National Nursing Home Week is almost here, and our home is bursting with excitement as we celebrate this year’s beautiful theme, “Moments in Bloom.” 🌷
(May 10-May 16)
All week long, our residents and staff will be enjoying special activities, laughter, friendship, and memories in the making. There is something blooming around every corner! 🌼

The week is about celebrating the little moments that make life beautiful — shared smiles, meaningful connections, joyful laughter, and the love that fills our home each day. We are so proud of the vibrant community we have here and the residents, families, and staff who make Lenox Care Center such a special place.

Stay tuned these next few weeks as we share photos and highlights from all the fun happening in our blooming little corner of the world! 🌿💐

Have I mentioned we do have a designated van for transportation and a designated van driver?! Come check us out as we are revamping our outdoors scenery and indoor!
