When you have a very important appointment at the vet, you obviously dress for success!

Quincy came to visit us today looking like he had a business meeting at 2 and a treat appointment at 2:05.

We’re not sure what he was more concerned about—the examination or making sure his impeccable fashion sense made a lasting impression.

Either way, Quincy was definitely the best-dressed gentleman in the building!

👀 Your pet may be acting fine… but are they really?

Pets don't always show us when they're uncomfortable or not feeling their best. Sometimes the first clues are small changes that are easy to brush off.

A change in weight. Avoiding the litter box. Drinking more or less. Sleeping more. Not wanting to jump like they used to.

⛅🏖Want to include your pets in your summer BBQ plans? You can safely give them some of the treat options listed below! And, for an extra-cool treat, freeze them inside a Kong toy! 😎

As always, remember to remove seeds, peels, cores, pits and rinds. And cut the treats into an appropriate size to avoid a choking hazard!

☀️🍔 Backyard BBQs are one of the best parts of summer—but they can also bring some unexpected dangers for our pets!

While you're enjoying burgers, hot dogs, and all the delicious sides, remember that some common cookout foods can be harmful (or even life-threatening) if your furry family members get ahold of them.

A few things to keep out of reach:
🌽 Corn cobs
🍢 Skewers
🥩 Fatty meats and table scraps
🧅 Foods containing onions or garlic
🍇 Grapes and raisins
🍺 Alcoholic beverages
🗑️ Trash bags full of leftovers

The safest way for pets to join the fun is by keeping them away from the grill and food prep area, asking guests not to sneak them table scraps, and making sure all leftovers and garbage are securely put away.

Summer storms are here, and while many of us enjoy the rain, our pets may feel very differently. ⛈️🐶🐱

Here are some ways to help them "ride out the storm":
🐾 Create a quiet, cozy safe space.
🐾 Close blinds to reduce flashes of lightning.
🐾 Play calming music or white noise.
🐾 Offer a favorite toy or enrichment treat.
🐾 Stay calm and reassuring - giving any sort of punishment can make the behavior worse!
