Summer break isn't always as carefree as it looks. 🌤️

For many kids, the end of the school year also means losing the structure, routine, and trusted adults that help them feel grounded. And sometimes, the signs that a child is struggling can be easy to miss.

Trust your instincts. If something feels off, it's always okay to ask for support. Care Solace can help connect your family to the right care, at no cost.

The CDC notes that 60% of men who died by su***de had no documented mental health condition. Not because they were fine. Because they never said a word.

June is Men's Mental Health Month, and silence is still the barrier we talk about least.

The men in our lives are often taught to push through, figure it out, and keep it moving. But suffering quietly is not strength. Asking for help is.

This month, check in on the men you love. Start the conversation. Make it easy for them to say "I'm not okay."

Surprise! 🍩

We had the best time surprising Amber, School Counselor at Van Buren School District, during a meeting with donuts and a big announcement in front of her colleagues: Amber has been named Arkansas' Care Hero of the Year!

Amber goes above and beyond to make sure students and families in her community can access the mental health support they need — no barriers, no waitlists, no one left behind. She is exactly who the Care Hero Award was created to recognize.

Thank you, Amber, for being the kind of person who makes this work matter. We are so honored to be your partner.

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to mental health care. For some people, telehealth offers flexibility and easier access to support. For others, in-person therapy provides a dedicated space for connection and focus.

The most important thing is finding an option that feels comfortable, accessible, and sustainable for you.

Meet Sara, a 2026 Care Hero!

As a school counselor at Alvord USD, Sara works to ensure students, families, and staff can access mental health support beyond the school setting. Through Care Solace, she connects individuals to therapy-based services with empathy, urgency, and deep care.

When one student required a higher level of support beyond outpatient therapy, Sara worked closely with her counseling team and administration to navigate treatment options, coordinate with facilities, and help the family through a complex process. Her advocacy helped the student access specialized inpatient care during a critical time.

Sara's commitment to follow-through and accessible care continues to make a lasting impact on her school community.

Meet Connie, a 2026 Care Hero 💜

Connie has helped transform how her community talks about and accesses mental health support. What began as a workplace initiative in the City of Montgomery grew into something much bigger - creating a culture where people feel safe being open, supported, and understood.

By sharing her own story and helping expand resources beyond City Hall, Connie has played a key role in bringing meaningful support to residents and ensuring individuals and families can access care when they need it most.

Her work is a powerful reminder that when we lead with vulnerability and empathy, real change follows.
