Isn't it amazing how a little tag can tell you so much about yourself?

"Final Sale."
I stood there with the scissors in my hand...and paused.

Not because I didn't like the swimsuit.
I did.
Not because it didn't fit.
It did.
It was already paid for.
But suddenly my mind started asking questions.

"What if it's uncomfortable after I wear it?"
"What if it fits today but not next week?"
“What if I wasted my money?"

It hit me that none of those things were actually happening.
I wasn't standing in a future problem.
I was standing in my bedroom…holding a pair of scissors.

For so many years, my brain learned to anticipate disappointment before it ever had the chance to experience joy.

To keep the receipt.
To leave the tags on.
To prepare for regret.

Today, I cut the tag anyway.

Not because I know what my body will look like next week.
Not because I know I'll never change my mind.

But because I liked it.
It fit.
I chose it.

Sometimes healing doesn't look like some grand breakthrough.

Sometimes it looks like cutting a little black tag and realizing you're finally choosing to trust yourself.

Magical manifesting tip:
Clean your stovetop.
That’s it. No, I mean it.

Within minutes, someone in your household will suddenly feel deeply inspired to cook an entire meal, use every pan you own, and leave behind evidence of their creative process.

As a recovering crazy cleaner, I am choosing to see this as abundance.

Abundance of meals.
Abundance of crumbs.
Abundance of opportunities to practice non-attachment.

Honestly, the universe works fast. 🤣🤣🤣
