named June 11 as the International Day of Play. This year’s theme: Protect play, protect childhood.
Children increasingly lack access to free, unstructured play, especially where public spaces aren't safe or healthy.
But play offers so many benefits:
• Builds creativity, physical, and social skills
• Sets the stage for lifelong learning and well-being
• Builds empathy
• Helps children cope with change and adversity
Do you know how to play ?
